Its been incredible performing my songs that I wrote from my album.  I am still booking more shows and I’m excited for other upcoming shows that I have going on right now.  My next gig is on May 15 I will be performing with a bass guitarist, a keyboardist and a drummer.  All of them play in hip hop and soul groups so its a perfect fit.  I am excited to form relationships with more musicians for future gigs and to also form more relationships with producers!  I am excited to perform this material but I am also looking forward to putting out more material.  I am hoping that I can put out more material sometime this year.

Life is so funny sometimes.  Things that you thought would never happen do and others don’t.  Everything happens for a reason.  The choices that you make lead you to meet certain people etc so what you choose ends up determining what your life will be like.  I try and write songs about my observations and feelings about certain things in life.  I keep a piece of paper and a pen close to me so that when a thought of a certain subject or a catchy phrase comes to mind I can write it down and sometimes they even end up on my iphone.  I have always felt different and misplaced while growing up but I see now that there is nothing wrong with wanting a life thats not the norm.  Everyone has certain things that make them happy and I finally found what makes me happy.  Its music.  If you end up listening to what people want you to be or what you should be you will probably never find what makes you happy.  Just be you and make sure that your the best you.
